About Julius Vincent, CPA, MBA
For business owners, high-income earners, and real estate investors who want to stop overpaying the IRS.

I'm Julius Vincent. I started Horizon Wealth & Tax Advisors after watching the same pattern play out too many times. An agency owner clearing $600K who had never been told what her entity structure was costing her. A physician making $400K with a rental property or two. Both paying a CPA to file a return that missed tens of thousands in legitimate deductions.
Not because the CPA was bad. Because the CPA's business model is volume compliance, not strategy. Nobody's paying a $200/hour preparer to think about your passive loss rules in August.
My background is different. I'm a CPA with 17 years in corporate accounting and financial reporting, most recently as a Global FP&A Director at an NYSE-listed global company. That work taught me how publicly-traded companies think about numbers: forward-looking, documented, defensible. When I started applying that same discipline to my own investing and to the business owners around me, I realized how rarely it shows up in how high earners and small business owners are actually served.
So I built Horizon Wealth & Tax Advisors around two ideas: (1) tax strategy should be planned before the year ends, not reconstructed after, and (2) every strategy we recommend should be documented well enough to survive an audit on day one.
I hold a BA in Accounting from Michigan State and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
Based in Katy, TX, working with clients nationwide.
